Responsibility
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded properly.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including vendor invoices, client billing, and payment reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP or local regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial reporting to support management decisions.
- Manage payroll processing, including tax withholdings, benefits deductions, and timely salary disbursements.
- Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Implement and maintain efficient bookkeeping systems, including digital tools and software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CB) is a plus.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial management roles.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial compliance in the Philippines or Indonesia.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to financial management.
- Experience working in a multinational or remote team is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a bonus.
