Responsibility
- Operate and monitor high-pressure boilers and auxiliary equipment to ensure continuous and efficient steam production
- Maintain accurate logs of boiler operations, including pressure readings, fuel consumption, and water treatment records
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on boiler systems and related equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during boiler operations
- Monitor water quality and chemical treatment processes to prevent corrosion and scale buildup
- Coordinate with production teams to align steam supply with operational demands
- Participate in safety training and emergency response procedures related to boiler operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Boiler Operator in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Valid boiler operator certification or license (preferably from a recognized institution)
- Strong knowledge of boiler systems, steam distribution, and water treatment processes
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations for high-pressure boiler operations
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematic diagrams
- Basic computer skills for recording operational data and generating reports
- Physical ability to perform routine maintenance and respond to operational emergencies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
