Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails, mocktails, and beverages with precision and creativity, adhering to Outpostās signature recipes and presentation standards.
- Act as a Social Connector by engaging guests, fostering a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring every visitor feels valued and included.
- Manage bar inventory, including stocking supplies, tracking usage, and placing orders to maintain optimal levels of ingredients and equipment.
- Uphold strict hygiene and safety protocols, including proper handling of glassware, utensils, and perishable ingredients to ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Collaborate with floor staff, hosts, and management to coordinate events, promotions, and special occasions, enhancing the overall guest experience.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, including opening/closing registers, reconciling sales, and processing payments efficiently.
- Provide personalized recommendations to guests based on their preferences, dietary restrictions, and cultural backgrounds to elevate their experience.
- Assist in training new team members on bar operations, customer service standards, and Outpostās brand values to maintain consistency.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1ā2 years of bartending or hospitality experience in a high-volume bar, hostel, or restaurant setting (Bali or international experience is a plus).
- Skills: Proficient in classic and modern cocktail techniques, including shaking, stirring, muddling, and garnishing. Knowledge of local and international spirits is essential.
- Personality: Outgoing, approachable, and confident with a natural ability to connect with diverse groups of people. A team player who thrives in fast-paced environments.
- Language: Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin, Spanish, French) are highly advantageous.
- Certifications: Valid Bartending License or equivalent certification (e.g., TIPS, RSA) is preferred. Food safety training is a bonus.
- Availability: Flexible schedule with willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support peak business hours.
- Legal: Eligible to work in Indonesia (KITAS/working visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates).
