Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and guest preferences.
- Engage with guests to create a lively, welcoming atmosphere, offering personalized recommendations and upselling premium drinks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area, adhering to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock orders, and minimize waste to optimize cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless coordination during peak hours.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and seasonal ingredients to innovate the drink menu.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate POS systems with integrity.
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a high-volume bar, hotel, or restaurant (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes, and beverage pairing principles.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Japanese) are a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a knack for multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) is advantageous.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items (up to 20 kg).
