Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation and processing of financial statements, invoices, and expense reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, including general ledger entries and reconciliations.
- Support the payroll process by verifying timesheets, calculating wages, and ensuring timely payments.
- Monitor and track accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded and processed efficiently.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting under the guidance of senior accounting staff.
- Prepare and file tax documents, ensuring compliance with local and national regulations.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department, including filing, data entry, and report generation.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Proven experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar role is a plus but not required.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reporting.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of local tax laws and financial regulations is an advantage.
