Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a wide range of high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, adhering to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with guests to understand their preferences and recommend personalized drink options.
- Upsell premium beverages, specials, and food pairings to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, including inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
- Monitor guest consumption and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with local regulations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless coordination during peak hours.
- Stay updated on the latest mixology trends, techniques, and ingredients to continuously improve drink offerings.
- Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems accurately, ensuring all sales are recorded properly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a high-volume bar, hotel, or restaurant (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, wines, and beer, with the ability to create unique drink combinations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling procedures.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) is a plus.
- Creative flair and a passion for mixology, with a willingness to experiment with new flavors and techniques.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy items (e.g., kegs, cases of liquor).
