As a Bartender at MDA Restaurants, you will play a key role in shaping the guest experience, from creating signature drinks to ensuring seamless service. If you have at least 3 years of experience in upscale bars, restaurants, or hotels, we want to hear from you!
Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and guest preferences.
- Engage with guests to provide personalized recommendations and ensure a memorable experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure adequate stock.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Upsell premium beverages and promotions to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate POS systems efficiently.
- Stay updated on industry trends and introduce innovative cocktail recipes to the menu.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Bartender in reputable bars, restaurants, or hotels.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail preparation, and beverage pairing.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Creative mindset with a passion for developing unique drink recipes.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) is a plus.
