Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and other beverages according to ZUSpresso’s standards and recipes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workspace, including equipment, counters, and customer areas.
- Manage inventory, restock supplies, and report any shortages or issues to the supervisor.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Recommend and upsell menu items, including specialty drinks and food pairings, to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently using the café’s POS system.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and maintain a friendly work environment.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure compliance with local health standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, including espresso extraction, milk frothing, and latte art.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and team members effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin) are a plus.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, as required.
