Responsibility
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and customer service standards.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations to maintain a clean and secure dining environment.
- Train, mentor, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding service and uphold the restaurant’s brand values.
- Monitor financial performance, including sales reports, expenses, and budget adherence, to support profitability goals.
- Resolve customer complaints professionally and efficiently to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and timely service.
- Develop and implement promotional strategies to attract new customers and retain existing clientele.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in fine dining or upscale restaurants.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests, staff, and management effectively.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities to handle multiple tasks and resolve issues efficiently.
- Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic financial reporting tools.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant’s operating hours.
- Knowledge of local and international culinary trends, as well as wine and beverage pairings, is a plus.
