Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of premium coffee beverages, including espresso, latte, cappuccino, and specialty drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders, answering questions, and providing recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including coffee machines, grinders, and service areas, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and assist with restocking as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special events.
- Stay updated on coffee trends, brewing techniques, and new menu offerings to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems accurately and efficiently.
- Contribute to a positive and energetic team culture that reflects our commitment to excellence.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the hospitality industry (minimum 1 year preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of coffee brewing methods, milk steaming, and latte art techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage warmly with a diverse clientele.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure during busy periods.
- Fluency in English (additional languages, especially Indonesian, are a plus).
- Passion for coffee and a willingness to continuously learn and improve.
