Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, pour-over, and cold brew, adhering to Acoustics Coffee Bar’s standards.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment (e.g., grinders, espresso machines) to ensure optimal performance and hygiene.
- Assist in food preparation and plating, ensuring presentation and taste meet our culinary standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with guests to understand preferences and offer personalized recommendations.
- Manage cash transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate records of sales.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean, organized, and inviting café environment.
- Educate customers about our coffee beans, brewing methods, and menu specials.
- Assist in inventory management, including stocking supplies and tracking usage of coffee, milk, and other ingredients.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista in a high-volume café or specialty coffee shop (minimum 1-2 years preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing techniques, and latte art.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic food handling and hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
