Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and specialty beverages according to brand standards.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for guests.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking stock levels and placing orders for supplies.
- Educate customers on coffee origins, brewing methods, and menu offerings.
- Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems accurately and efficiently.
- Participate in training programs to stay updated on new techniques, trends, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, including espresso-based drinks and manual brewing methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory calculations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Passion for coffee and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Certification in coffee making (e.g., SCA) is a plus but not required.
