Pause And Padel, a dynamic lifestyle and sports hub in Bali, is seeking an experienced Barista / Coffee Shop Manager to join our expanding team across multiple premium locations in Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, and Badung.

Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages according to established standards and recipes
- Manage daily café operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management
- Train and supervise barista staff, ensuring consistent service quality and adherence to hygiene standards
- Develop and maintain relationships with coffee suppliers and manage inventory to minimize waste
- Monitor and maintain coffee equipment, coordinating repairs and maintenance as needed
- Contribute to menu development, including seasonal specials and promotional offerings
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in food and beverage service
- Assist in budgeting and cost control measures to optimize café profitability
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any service-related issues professionally
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a barista, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role
- Professional barista certification or equivalent training (SCA, Barista Guild, etc.) is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of coffee origins, roasting profiles, and brewing techniques
- Experience with various coffee equipment including espresso machines, grinders, and alternative brewing methods
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse clientele
- Basic financial acumen for inventory management and cost control
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, etc.) are a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15kg
