Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages (espresso, latte, cappuccino, cold brew, etc.) with precision and consistency.
- Master latte art and other creative presentation techniques to enhance the customer experience.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, and report shortages to management.
- Adhere to hygiene and safety standards, including regular cleaning of equipment and workstations.
- Stay updated on coffee trends, brewing methods, and new menu items to educate customers and team members.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barista in a café, restaurant, or hotel setting (experience in Bali or international venues is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of coffee beans, brewing techniques, and espresso extraction.
- Proficiency in latte art and beverage presentation.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a bonus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 10 kg (e.g., bags of coffee beans).
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Passion for coffee and a willingness to continuously learn and improve.
