Responsibility
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, including verifying reservations and processing payments.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly, providing solutions that exceed expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, room availability, and billing details using property management systems.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met seamlessly.
- Assist in administrative tasks such as filing, reporting, and preparing daily occupancy reports.
- Promote hotel services, facilities, and local attractions to enhance guest satisfaction and upsell opportunities.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk and lobby area.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM/O-Level or equivalent; diploma in Hospitality Management or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in a front office, receptionist, or customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English and Malay; additional languages are an advantage.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle high-pressure situations with composure.
- Proficiency in using property management systems (PMS) and basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- A customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and shift rotations.
- Malaysian citizenship or valid work permit for Malaysia.
