Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails, mocktails, and beverages with precision and creativity, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing personalized recommendations and ensuring a memorable experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, including inventory management, restocking supplies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and manage POS systems accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and intervene discreetly when necessary to ensure responsible service.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new cocktail techniques, and beverage innovations to enhance the barâs offerings.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff members to uphold service excellence.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a bartender or mixologist in a high-volume, upscale hospitality environment (e.g., hotels, resorts, bars, or restaurants).
- Proven expertise in classic and contemporary cocktail preparation, including knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, and mixers.
- Strong understanding of wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverage pairings to enhance guest experiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage guests in English fluently. Additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, Japanese) are a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol) is highly desirable.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy objects (e.g., kegs, cases of liquor).
- Valid work permit or eligibility to work in Indonesia (preference given to candidates with existing work authorization).
