Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, pour-over, and specialty drinks, adhering to standardized recipes.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly, professional demeanor, addressing inquiries and customizing orders.
- Manage cash transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
- Educate customers about coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles to enhance their experience.
- Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, and supplies, and assist with restocking as needed.
- Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role in the hospitality industry (1+ years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, equipment, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and remain calm under pressure.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Certification in food safety or barista training is a plus.
