Responsibility
- Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid top-ups.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and exhaust systems.
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed, including work orders, diagnostic reports, and customer communications.
- Collaborate with service advisors and other team members to provide exceptional customer service and ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, tools, and industry best practices through continuous learning and training.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Auto Mechanic or similar role, with a minimum of 3 years in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems in vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of automotive tools, diagnostic equipment, and software (e.g., OBD-II scanners).
- Familiarity with a wide range of vehicle makes and models, including both domestic and imported brands.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to identify and resolve complex automotive issues.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical issues to customers and colleagues clearly and professionally.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Certification from a recognized automotive training program (e.g., ASE, TESDA, or equivalent) is a plus.
