Responsibility
- Oversee and manage daily import and export operations to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies to facilitate smooth clearance of goods.
- Monitor and track shipments, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any logistical issues that arise.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations, in accordance with legal requirements.
- Liaise with internal departments such as procurement, warehouse, and finance to align exim activities with company objectives.
- Conduct regular audits of import/export processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff on exim procedures, compliance, and best practices.
- Prepare and submit reports on exim activities, performance metrics, and potential risks to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in import/export operations, customs clearance, or international trade compliance.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is mandatory; proficiency in Indonesian is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian customs regulations, Incoterms, and international trade laws.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in using ERP systems, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and logistics software.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
