As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and overseeing railway systems that meet international standards. Responsibility
- Lead the design, planning, and implementation of railway infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and risk assessments for new railway developments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and government agencies, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Oversee the preparation of technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents for railway systems.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure seamless execution.
- Provide expert advice on railway safety, sustainability, and efficiency improvements.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in railway engineering.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Railway Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in railway engineering, with a proven track record in project management or design.
- Professional certification (e.g., PE, PMP, or Chartered Engineer) is highly advantageous.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D), BIM tools, and railway-specific design software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with international railway standards (e.g., AREMA, UIC, or EN standards).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and precision.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali or commute as required for project needs.
