Responsibility

  • Develop and execute effective strategies to expand the federation's membership base and service portfolio.
  • Proactively identify, approach, and convert leads through networking, cold outreach, and industry events.
  • Represent the organization at high-profile industry exhibitions, seminars, and business networking sessions.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the manufacturing industry.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends and business opportunities for SMF members.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to package and promote value-added services and initiatives.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on business development metrics and conversion pipeline progress.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of proven experience in business development, corporate sales, or account management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to represent the organization professionally at all levels.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation abilities.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work effectively in a target-driven environment.
