Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end purchasing activities, including processing purchase orders (POs) and ensuring accuracy in all procurement documentation.
- Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to optimize cost efficiency and quality.
- Monitor and follow up on delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of goods and services, minimizing disruptions to operations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, including vendor databases, contracts, and transaction histories.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as finance, logistics, and production, to align procurement activities with business needs.
- Identify and evaluate new suppliers, conducting market research to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality sourcing.
- Resolve any procurement-related issues, such as delays, discrepancies, or quality concerns, in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare regular reports on procurement performance, including cost savings, supplier performance, and inventory levels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing or agri-tech industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and pricing from suppliers.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia or Mandarin) are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
