Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic planning processes to ensure the timely availability of spare parts and materials for port and logistics operations.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and operations teams to optimize inventory levels and reduce lead times.
- Monitor and analyze material usage patterns to forecast demand and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of critical materials and resolve any supply chain disruptions.
- Prepare and present regular reports on inventory status, planning metrics, and supply chain performance to senior management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in material planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements related to material handling and logistics.
- Support cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and reducing costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in planning, inventory management, or supply chain roles, preferably in logistics, manufacturing, or port operations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process optimization.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin) are a plus.
