Responsibility
- Process and verify customs documentation for international shipments to ensure compliance with local and global regulations.
- Liaise with customs authorities, clients, and internal teams to resolve clearance delays and discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of all clearance activities, including duties, taxes, and permits.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to customs clearance.
- Monitor shipment statuses and proactively communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of cleared shipments.
- Stay updated on changes in customs laws, tariffs, and trade agreements that may impact operations.
- Identify opportunities to streamline clearance processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Logistics, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in customs clearance, logistics, or a similar role (fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply).
- Familiarity with customs regulations, tariff classifications, and trade compliance in Indonesia.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and customs management software.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
