Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets for liner services in the Bali region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts, rates, and service agreements with clients, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of liner services.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to management.
- Represent Samudera at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Business, Marketing, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the maritime, logistics, or shipping industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building long-term client relationships.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Knowledge of liner shipping operations, freight forwarding, or supply chain management is highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel within Bali and occasionally to other regions for business purposes.
