Responsibility
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations across multiple properties, ensuring adherence to brand standards and guest expectations.
- Develop and implement housekeeping policies, procedures, and training programs to maintain consistency and efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and amenities, ensuring cost-effective procurement and usage.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to uphold cleanliness and maintenance standards.
- Collaborate with the front office and maintenance teams to address guest requests and resolve issues promptly.
- Manage and mentor housekeeping staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including COVID-19 protocols.
- Prepare and manage the housekeeping budget, optimizing resources without compromising quality.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping best practices, cleaning techniques, and industry standards.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using housekeeping management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests, staff, and management.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by operational needs.
- Certification in hospitality management or a related field is a plus.
