Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to service standards.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high team morale.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including food, beverages, and supplies, while minimizing waste.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations in alignment with local and international standards.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally, resolving issues promptly to enhance satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment while maintaining food quality.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and revenue growth.
- Conduct regular staff performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a Chinese restaurant or similar hospitality establishment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin or other Chinese dialects is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of Chinese cuisine, dining etiquette, and service protocols.
- Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management, and basic financial reporting.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant’s operating hours.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred.
