Responsibility
- Develop and execute seasonal menus that showcase local ingredients and global culinary trends.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of 20+ kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Oversee all kitchen operations, including inventory management, cost control, and supplier negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards across all outlets.
- Collaborate with the F&B team to create unique dining experiences, including themed events and private functions.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and guest feedback to continuously refine offerings.
- Manage kitchen budgets, labor costs, and profitability targets.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and incorporate sustainable practices into daily operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in high-end restaurants or luxury resorts, with at least 3 years in an Executive Chef role.
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized institution.
- Proven expertise in Southeast Asian and international cuisines.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of team development and retention.
- Excellent financial acumen, including P&L management and cost control.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian or another language is a plus.
- Creative mindset with a passion for menu innovation and guest satisfaction.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
