Responsibility

  • Lead and mentor culinary teams across multiple luxury resort properties in Bali
  • Develop innovative, seasonal menus that showcase Balinese ingredients and international culinary trends
  • Ensure consistent execution of dishes with impeccable presentation and quality standards
  • Manage kitchen operations including inventory, cost control, and vendor relationships
  • Collaborate with F&B management to create unique dining experiences and special events
  • Implement and maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards
  • Train and develop kitchen staff in culinary techniques and service excellence
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain our competitive edge
  • Work closely with sustainability teams to implement farm-to-table initiatives

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in luxury hotels/resorts
  • Proven track record in high-volume, fine dining environments (minimum 100 covers daily)
  • Expertise in international cuisine with strong knowledge of Indonesian/Balinese culinary traditions
  • Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts from a recognized institution
  • Certification in food safety and hygiene (HACCP, ServSafe, or equivalent)
  • Experience with menu engineering and cost control in high-end hospitality
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate multicultural teams
  • Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages a plus)
  • Willingness to relocate to Bali and work in a tropical environment
