Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a team of chefs and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional culinary experiences.
- Develop and refine menus that align with the resortâs luxury branding and guest expectations.
- Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and taste across all dining outlets.
- Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory management, cost control, and supplier negotiations.
- Implement and maintain strict hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Collaborate with the F&B team to create seasonal and themed dining events.
- Monitor industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques and ingredients into the menu.
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing team.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a luxury hotel, resort, or fine-dining establishment.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale kitchen operations with a focus on efficiency and excellence.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing talent.
- Deep knowledge of international cuisines, with a passion for Indonesian and fusion dishes.
- Excellent cost control and budget management abilities.
- Certification in food safety and hygiene (e.g., HACCP) is a plus.
- Creative mindset with the ability to design innovative and visually stunning dishes.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
