Responsibility
- Coordinate end-to-end event planning, including client consultations, venue setup, and post-event follow-ups.
- Develop customized event proposals, contracts, and budgets tailored to client needs and hotel standards.
- Liaise with vendors, caterers, and internal teams to ensure flawless execution of events, adhering to timelines and quality benchmarks.
- Oversee on-site event logistics, including AV setup, decor, seating arrangements, and guest services.
- Monitor event expenses, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitive offerings to innovate and enhance event experiences.
- Prepare post-event reports, gather feedback, and implement improvements for future events.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in event coordination, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
- Proven track record of managing multiple events simultaneously with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Proficiency in event management software (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent) and MS Office Suite.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
