Responsibility
- Install, configure, and test audio-visual equipment including projectors, sound systems, microphones, and lighting for events of varying scales.
- Operate and troubleshoot AV systems during live events, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with event planners, hotel staff, and clients to understand technical requirements and deliver tailored AV solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on AV equipment to ensure longevity and reliability.
- Set up and manage live streaming, video conferencing, and hybrid event setups for remote participants.
- Train hotel staff on basic AV system operations and best practices for event support.
- Maintain an inventory of AV equipment, track usage, and recommend upgrades or replacements as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards for electrical and AV system installations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) as an AV Technician, preferably in hospitality, events, or corporate environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of audio-visual systems, including mixers, amplifiers, LED walls, and wireless microphones.
- Certification in AV technologies (e.g., CTS, AVI-SPL, or similar) is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 25 kg) and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian, Tagalog) are advantageous.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong communication and teamwork abilities.
