Join a prestigious banking institution in Bali as an Equity Trade Control Analyst, where you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of equity trade operations. This high-impact position offers a competitive salary of up to $6,000 per month and the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced financial environment.

As part of a global team, you will collaborate with traders, operations, and risk management stakeholders to mitigate operational risks, resolve discrepancies, and maintain seamless trade lifecycle management. This contract role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with a strong background in financial markets, trade reconciliation, and regulatory compliance.

Based in the vibrant Badung region (covering Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, and surrounding areas), this position combines professional growth with the unparalleled lifestyle of Bali—perfect for those seeking a balance between career excellence and tropical living.

Responsibility

  • Monitor and validate equity trade transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of trade data between front-office systems, custodians, and counterparties.
  • Investigate and resolve trade discrepancies, breaks, or failures in a timely manner, escalating issues as needed.
  • Prepare and distribute trade confirmation reports, P&L statements, and other financial documentation for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with trading desks, settlement teams, and risk management to address operational risks and process improvements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of equity markets, trade lifecycle, and relevant financial regulations (e.g., MiFID, Dodd-Frank).
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of trade control frameworks, automation tools, and workflow efficiencies.
  • Support audit requests and regulatory examinations by providing accurate trade records and explanations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in trade control, middle office, or operations within equity markets, investment banking, or asset management.
  • Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, settlement processes, and reconciliation for equities, derivatives, or fixed income.
  • Proficiency in trade processing systems (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, Murex, or proprietary platforms) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VBA).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., SEC, FINRA, EMIR) and risk management principles.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with global teams, traders, and external parties.
  • Ability to adapt to a contract-based role with potential for extension or conversion based on performance.
