Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment efficiency and reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards during all maintenance activities.
- Assist in the installation and calibration of new equipment as needed.
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and operators.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend upgrades or replacements when necessary.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience as an Equipment Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including night shifts, as required.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in equipment maintenance.
