Responsibility
- Operate and monitor molding machines to ensure optimal performance and output quality.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime and extend machinery lifespan.
- Troubleshoot and resolve PLC-related issues to maintain smooth production processes.
- Assist in the setup and calibration of machinery for new production runs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement process improvements and efficiency upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards during all operations.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff and operators as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Equipment Specialist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of PLC systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Hands-on experience with molding machines and preventive maintenance procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to changing production demands.
