Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, failures, or deviations using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality assurance, and R&D) to implement process improvements and equipment upgrades.
- Monitor equipment performance metrics, analyze trends, and recommend corrective actions to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Conduct equipment calibrations, alignments, and adjustments to meet strict manufacturing specifications.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications in compliance with company and industry standards.
- Train and mentor junior technicians and operators on equipment operation, safety protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality control regulations to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Diploma holders with relevant experience may also be considered.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor processing equipment (e.g., CVD, PVD, etch, lithography, or test systems).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues under pressure.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and data analysis tools.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) to collaborate effectively with global teams.
- Willingness to work in a 12-hour rotating shift and adapt to a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
