Responsibility
- Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIA) for construction projects and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Monitor and report on environmental performance, including waste management, emissions, and resource conservation.
- Develop and implement sustainability policies and procedures to minimize environmental footprint.
- Coordinate with government agencies, stakeholders, and internal teams to secure necessary permits and approvals.
- Lead environmental audits and inspections to identify risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide training and awareness programs for staff on environmental best practices.
- Oversee the disposal of hazardous materials and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Prepare and submit environmental reports to regulatory bodies and senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental compliance or sustainability roles, preferably in construction.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian environmental laws and international standards (e.g., ISO 14001).
- Experience conducting environmental impact assessments and audits.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in environmental monitoring tools and reporting software.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multicultural teams and across multiple project sites.
- Certification in environmental management (e.g., NEBOSH, LEED) is a plus.
