Responsibility
- Conduct regular workplace inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards in manufacturing environments.
- Develop, implement, and monitor EHS policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA, ISO 45001, and local regulations.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety best practices into daily operations and project planning.
- Assist in the deployment of AWS-based safety automation tools and data management systems to streamline EHS processes.
- Support environmental initiatives, including waste management, emissions monitoring, and sustainability programs.
- Deliver safety training and awareness programs for employees at all levels.
- Utilize VB scripting to automate routine EHS tasks, such as report generation or data analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with EHS regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 14001/45001) is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of AWS (Automation & Workplace Safety) or willingness to learn industrial automation tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; exposure to VB scripting is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with a proactive approach to safety and compliance.
- No prior experience required—training provided for motivated candidates.
- Willingness to work on Jurong Island (Singapore) with potential for future relocation to Bali.
