Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local regulations (e.g., Indonesian OSH laws) and international standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and reporting to prevent recurrence and improve safety protocols.
- Organize and deliver EHS training programs for employees, contractors, and management to promote safety awareness.
- Maintain accurate records of EHS performance, incidents, and compliance documentation for internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to integrate EHS best practices into daily operations.
- Monitor environmental impacts (e.g., waste management, emissions) and ensure adherence to sustainability goals.
- Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies, clients, and third-party EHS consultants.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH) are a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in EHS coordination, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian EHS regulations and familiarity with international standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
- Strong analytical skills to assess risks, interpret data, and develop actionable safety recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to train, influence, and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in EHS software, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools. Experience with incident management systems is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, contract-based environment.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is beneficial.
