Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor environmental compliance programs to ensure adherence to local, national, and international regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities to identify potential sources of pollution and recommend corrective actions.
- Evaluate the safety and environmental impact of chemicals and materials used in operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Prepare and submit reports to regulatory bodies, documenting compliance status, incident investigations, and pollution prevention measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable practices into daily operations and long-term business strategies.
- Provide training and awareness programs for employees on environmental policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Stay updated on emerging environmental laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure the company remains compliant and competitive.
- Respond to environmental incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and implement preventive measures to mitigate future risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in environmental compliance, pollution control, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of environmental laws and regulations in Indonesia, with familiarity with international standards (e.g., ISO 14001) being a plus.
- Proven experience in conducting environmental audits, risk assessments, and compliance reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and influence employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and environmental management software (e.g., SAP EHS, Enablon).
- Certification in environmental management (e.g., Certified Environmental Specialist, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor) is highly desirable.
