Responsibility
- Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects.
- Conduct material takeoffs and quantify construction works from drawings and specifications.
- Support in contract administration, including reviewing subcontractor agreements and purchase orders.
- Monitor project costs, expenditures, and financial performance against budgets.
- Assist in valuation of variations and claims to ensure fair and accurate billing.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to optimize project costs and resources.
- Prepare monthly cost reports and present findings to senior management.
- Participate in site visits and inspections to verify progress and compliance with specifications.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in construction, cost estimation, or quantity surveying (fresh graduates are welcome).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with cost estimation software (e.g., Candy, WinQS) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial calculations.
- Willingness to travel to project sites in Bali as required.
