Responsibility
- Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and demand patterns to develop data-driven pricing recommendations for airline services.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of pricing models, fare structures, and revenue optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives and customer needs.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, load factors, and revenue per available seat mile (RASM).
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for promotional campaigns, route expansions, or service adjustments.
- Prepare weekly/monthly pricing reports with actionable insights for senior management.
- Support ad-hoc financial and strategic projects related to airline operations and commercial performance.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, fuel costs, and economic factors impacting airline pricing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in pricing analysis, financial modeling, or data analytics (internships or academic projects count!).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas) and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of airline industry dynamics (a plus, but not required).
- Detail-oriented with a problem-solving attitude and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus.
