Responsibility
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
- Support the implementation of IT infrastructure projects, including upgrades and migrations.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to document network configurations, policies, and procedures.
- Respond to and resolve network-related incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
- Assist in maintaining network security by monitoring threats, applying patches, and enforcing security protocols.
- Provide technical support to end-users for network connectivity and related issues.
- Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, subnetting, etc.).
- Familiarity with network hardware (Cisco, Juniper, or similar) and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting network issues (certifications like CCNA are a plus).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry best practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
