Responsibility
- Conduct material analysis and testing to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with suppliers to evaluate material quality, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Support the development of material selection criteria for new product designs and improvements.
- Assist in failure analysis investigations to identify root causes and propose corrective actions.
- Document and maintain material specifications, test reports, and technical data for traceability.
- Work closely with manufacturing and R&D teams to optimize material usage and reduce production costs.
- Stay updated on emerging materials and technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance product reliability and sustainability.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in materials engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Strong understanding of material properties, testing methods, and failure analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ASTM, ISO) and quality management systems (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab) and basic laboratory equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate across departments.
- Willingness to relocate to Denpasar, Bali and adapt to a fast-paced, innovative environment.
