Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Support the maintenance and updating of financial databases and business intelligence tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, validate, and interpret financial data for decision-making.
- Help automate and streamline financial processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Monitor key financial metrics and flag discrepancies or trends for further investigation.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting by compiling historical data and supporting scenario modeling.
- Maintain documentation of financial procedures and ensure adherence to internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or data analysis (internships or academic projects count!).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic macros) and familiarity with financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality in handling financial information.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting deadlines.
