Responsibility
- Provide first-level technical support for desktop hardware, software, and network issues in a healthcare setting.
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, printers, and other peripheral devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems reported by healthcare staff in a timely manner.
- Assist in the deployment and maintenance of healthcare applications and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures to protect sensitive patient data.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement system upgrades and patches.
- Document technical issues, solutions, and procedures for future reference.
- Support end-users with training and guidance on IT tools and best practices.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows/macOS) and hardware components.
- Familiarity with healthcare IT systems or electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with healthcare professionals.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and healthcare IT standards.
- Basic understanding of network principles and IT security best practices.
