Responsibility
- Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise-wide cybersecurity architectures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection systems.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify and remediate risks.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices in alignment with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Monitor security incidents, investigate breaches, and coordinate rapid response and recovery efforts to minimize impact.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into DevOps (DevSecOps) pipelines and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Provide expert guidance on security compliance for regulatory requirements and client-specific mandates.
- Mentor junior security team members and foster a culture of security awareness across the organization.
- Stay ahead of emerging cyber threats, trends, and technologies to continuously enhance security posture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Proven expertise in network security, endpoint protection, threat intelligence, and incident response.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or CCSP are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOC 2) and compliance regulations.
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar), vulnerability scanners (Nessus, Qualys), and EDR/XDR solutions.
- Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation and security tool customization.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
