Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to elderly residents, including medication administration and wound management.
- Monitor and record resident health status, reporting any significant changes to the medical team.
- Assist doctors and senior nursing staff during clinical procedures and daily ward rounds.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that cater to the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents.
- Supervise and mentor junior nursing staff or nursing aides to ensure adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.
- Facilitate activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote resident independence and quality of life.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Nursing or Nitec in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Must be registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
- At least 1-3 years of relevant clinical experience; those with experience in geriatric or nursing home settings will be highly regarded.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-centric approach to caregiving.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Possess a valid BCLS certification.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
