Responsibility
- Deliver engaging English lessons to secondary students using the I Can Read methodology.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop lesson plans and teaching materials.
- Participate in professional development workshops and training sessions.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development.
- Contribute to school events and extracurricular activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field.
- TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification (preferred but not required).
- Previous experience teaching English to secondary students (minimum 1 year).
- Strong command of the English language (native or near-native proficiency).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Passion for education and a commitment to student success.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali (if not already based there).
