Responsibility
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, age-appropriate English lesson plans that align with the school's core curriculum.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration and creative thinking.
- Monitor and document each child's progress, conducting regular developmental assessments and sharing feedback with parents.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with parents and guardians to support children's holistic development.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to ensure high standards of child safety, hygiene, and well-being are met at all times.
- Integrate storytelling, play-based learning, and interactive activities to improve children’s literacy and communication skills.
- Participate in school events, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development sessions to enhance teaching practices.
Qualifications
- Possess a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (DECCE-T) or equivalent qualifications recognized by ECDA.
- Registered with the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) as an L2 teacher.
- Minimum 1-2 years of teaching experience in an early childhood or preschool setting.
- Strong command of the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Passionate about early childhood education and committed to fostering a positive, nurturing classroom culture.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Possess a high level of patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
